Mrs. Trishia Fischer
Bio
I am very excited to be serving as your Pre K-12 School Counselor at Jamesville Colony, Maxwell Colony and Menno Public School! We have AMAZING students, staff and parents in Menno and I feel privileged to be given the opportunity to assist our outstanding young men and women with their present and future academic choices, personal and social decisions.
Education
I graduated from Spearfish High School in 1992. From there I attended The University of South Dakota and graduated in 1996 with a major in Alcohol and Drug Abuse Studies. I received my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from the North American Baptist Seminary in Sioux Falls, SD in 2000.
Employment
I worked at Carroll Institute in Sioux Falls from 1996-2005. For nine years I served in various capacities at Carroll Institute including Prevention Counselor, Treatment Counselor and eventually Clinical Director. When we moved back to Menno in 2005 I became a stay-at-home mom for 12 years. After my children got older I returned to the work force as a Para-Professional for the Special Education Department at Menno Public School from 2017-2019. I have been blessed to serve as your School Counselor since 2019.
